However, that still leaves a lot of guns or gun and attachment options unaccommodated.  So, when will we have a holster for your gun?  

It depends. A lot goes into the design and engineering of new shells to ensure trigger coverage, compatibility with that series of holster bases and usability of the holster with that particular configuration.  What we focus on for new accommodations is mostly popularity- the number of requests for that gun as well as sales numbers.  Adding lights, lasers or optics makes it tougher since there are so many varieties out there and each make and model of the attachment usually requires a special make to ensure good fitment.

Our Cloak Series holsters offers the most options in terms of stock gun availability and with lights, lasers and optics. We have been making these holster shells the longest so have a lot of experience in producing new accommodations.  Even so, there are limits to what we are able to design safely.  Lights that are wider than the slide of the pistol, for example, often have issues with retention.  Light and laser combos that sit lower than the bottom of the trigger guard is another example of configurations that we are unable to accommodate.     

ShapeShift Series of holsters were designed for the adjustable retention to grab the front of the trigger guard.  Because of this design, ShapeShift does not support any lights or lasers.  We holster for about 150 firearms in ShapeShift, but since folks are wanting lights and lasers more and more, we have not expanded our offerings here.

Other holster series, such as Rapid Force Duty Holsters and Lvl 2 Slim Holster, under go extensive research, design and testing to withstand much harsher conditions than civilian holsters.  This adds to the expense and time needed to create new accommodations, so the models we will focus on will reflect what major police departments and military are carrying.
