The Rapid Force Duty Holster protects your firearm so that you can protect and serve. Engineered to meet the needs of active law enforcement and military service members, Rapid Force features a secure Level 2 or Level 3 retention, a fast and intuitive draw, and extreme durability.
Level 2
Level 3
Additional to the active retention levels, we have also included adjustable passive retention. By using the provided 3/32 allen key, turning the screw shown below. It is important to recognize that the location of this screw is found in different locations depending on the model of pistol the Rapid Force Duty Holster is purchased for. If your pistol is moving too freely when holstered you can increase the passive retention. Likewise if your pistol is too tight or holstering the pistol is challenging you can try reducing the retention. You can see what level your passive retention is set at by looking at the passive retention indicator (Shown below). The Larger the line the more positive the retention and the smaller the line the less positive the retention.
Right VS Left Handed Draw
There has been some instances of confusion in respect to holster orientation and some customers believing that the were sent the wrong handed holster. This is likely due to the large light channel built into the holster. This can be very tempting to try and insert the pistol into the holster upside down. This will not work. Before you contact us please view the pictures below and see how the pistol goes into the holster. This is predominantly with Light bearing Rapid Force. Hopefully the illustrations below can provide some further clarification. We used to send them out with a "top" and "bottom" sticker on the holster but feedback proved that this was not received well.
